NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (REL) has floated a tender for the BOS package of ISTS-connected wind energy projects of nominal capacity of 1200 MW with greenshoe option of upto 300 MW at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.

NTPC REL has been announcing a series of ambitious tenders in Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, NTPC REL invited online bids for land and power evacuation package for the development of 900 MW ISTS connected solar PV projects in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. It also came with the green shoe option of 300 MW.
