BHEL Floats Tender For 2.5 MWp Rooftop Project In Telangana In a bid to push rooftop solar, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) invited bids for a 2.5 MWp solar rooftop project in Yadadri STPP (Super Thermal Power Plant), Bhuvanagiri, Telangana. The tender document mentions an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) value of ₹190,250. The last date for bid submission is September 16, 2024, while the official opening of the tenders is scheduled for September 17, 2024. The scope of work included, erection/ installation, testing and commissioning of the entire project. The pre-commissioning activities include energizing the startup power supply systems, followed by a trial run for 1.5 MW of the total capacity. Moreover, the successful bidder must adhere to protocols before and after commissioning of the project. The tender document states, all testing activities should follow the relevant standard, code of practice, manufacturer’s instructions, and BHEL norms. It further added, grouting must be conducted wherever necessary as directed by the BHEL site in-charge. This will be done at no cost. Moreover, bidders must arrange the manpower for the commissioning and conduct tests on the erected equipment as desired by BHEL.
