SECI invites engagement of Advisor/Consultant for developing business prospects under Solar Pumping Programme By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Wed, Mar 2nd, 2016 Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. has invited applications from eligible Indian National for engagement as Consultant/Advisor for developing business prospects under its Solar Pumping Scheme. The contract period is initially for a period of 06 months and can be terminated by giving a prior notice of minimum 2 (two) weeks and may be extended on mutually agreed terms. The service will be rendered in consultation with and in association with Director (PS). SECI notes that applicants must have minimum 10 years of experience in PSU or Government. The person should have worked at the level of Executive Director or above in Schedule “A” PSU or at the level of Joint Secretary in the Government. The individual should have minimum 2 years of experience in formation and implementation of policies under Solar Water Pump programme of MNRE at State or National level with its integration with IT systems. Person with experience in application of renewable energy in horticulture/agriculture will be preferred. Last month SECI retendered 50MW of grid-connected solar projects under its Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) category in the state of Maharashtra. The company issued a request for selection for the 50MW as part of the Jawarhalal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) Phase II, Batch III. Standardization of the designs, technical specs of the key components and the bid documents for reference and finalizing RFS documents and assisting in selection of vendors. Tie up of funding with domestic/multi-lateral agencies. Program coordination with MNRE, EESL and other stakeholders for successful implementation. A robust Monitoring and Evaluation framework, including remote monitoring, to assess the program on an on-going basis. Contract fee: Consultancy fee (a) Rs 7.5 lacs (consolidated) for the period of six months. In the event of premature termination of contract, proportionate amount only is payable against such bill.
