The ZF Wind Power plant in Coimbatore is one of the largest wind gearbox production facilities in the world outside of China. The company has established a key export hub and has continuously invested in local capabilities. The latest long-term strategic investments in the ZF Wind Power plant in Coimbatore are focused on expanding its manufacturing capacity from 9 to 12 GW per year to meet the growth envisioned for the wind market. This is coupled with the installation of a 13 MW test rig, which will further solidify ZF’s position as a partner in development and validation.
