West Bengal Issues Tender to Set Up 9.9 MW Rooftop Solar Plant By Bhoomika Singh/ Updated On Tue, Feb 23rd, 2021 West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency (WBREDA) has issued a tender for setting up 9.9 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar PV plants. The tender issued for design and engineering manufacture/procurement, testing, supply installation, and commissioning along with five years of comprehensive maintenance for 990 individual grid-connected rooftop solar PV plants, each with a capacity of 10 kWp on a turnkey basis. All interested bidders shall submit their bid by April 23, 2021, till 4.00 P.M. Bidders are expected to pay an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs. 28 Lakhs with a tender fee of Rs 8,000. Also, there will be a pre-bid meeting on March 10, 2021. The successful bidders are expected to submit Additional Security Performance at the rate of 10 percent of the tendered value if the bid value stands 80 percent or less of the estimated cost put to the tender. Bidders will be eligible to submit their bids for 330 nos. the grid-connected solar PV power plant of each array capacity 10 kW based on criteria set by WBREDA. WBREDA will distribute the total work during the placement of the letter of authorization in different stages. The first stage includes 330 rooftop solar systems that will be awarded to the L1 bidder at per lowest acceptable price schedule. As per the tender, WBREDA, a department of non-conventional & renewable energy sources, Govt. of West Bengal, reserves the right to alter, amend, omit, or otherwise vary the allotment quantities of the power plant of the original order.
