WBPDCL Issues Tender for 22.5 MW Floating Solar Plants By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Thu, Mar 23rd, 2023 WBPDCL's 22.5 5 MW Floating Solar Tender The West Bengal Power Development Corporation (WBPDCL) has invited bidders for floating solar plants aggregating 22.5 MW across it’s various ponds in the state. These ponds are located close to its thermal power plants. The E-tender cum reverse auction specifies for Design & Engineering, Manufacture / Procurement, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 22.5 MW Grid Connected Floating Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants on different Water Ponds at BkTPS, STPS & SgTPP of WBPDCL, West Bengal including warrantee obligation with 05 (Five) years comprehensive Operation and Maintenance on turnkey basis. The pre-bid meeting is for 06.04.2023 at 11.00 Hrs. 17/04/2023 at 18:30 Hrs. The bid submission starting date is 17.04.2023 at 18:30 Hrs. The last date to submit bids is 02.05.2023 at 15:00 Hrs. Technical bids end on 04.05.2023 at 15:30 Hrs. The EMD amount is Rs. 403.94 Lakh. The performance guarantee for execution of contract for each contract is 3% of the project cost plus GST in the form of bank guarantee valid for a period of seventy two (72) months with further claim period for ninety (90) days thereafter. It should be submitted within 15 days from the date of LOA. The minium value of work for each RA bill for each contract is Rs.10.00 Lakhs. 5% of the project cost plus GST will be retained by the purchaser for the performance warranty and the same will be paid in 1% yearly after successful completion of the work i.e. up to defect liability period.
