Rays Power Infra Acquires 520 MW Solar Projects In Assam, Gujarat West Bengal Power Development Corporation (WBPDCL) issued tenders inviting bids for the operation and maintenance of the 10 MW ground-mounted solar power project at the Sagardighi thermal power plant in Murshidabad. The scope of work for the project includes administrative, monitoring, and maintenance operations as well as documentation, replacement, and successful operation of the project for the contract duration. The last date to submit the bids is February 28 while the bid will be opened on March 1. The tender document further states that the O&M contract duration is for four months which will begin on March 15 and will end on July 14. The estimated cost of the contract is 1.65 million. The bid document also specifies that an earnest money deposit of Rs 33,031 will have to be deposited which WBPDCL will retain as a performance bank guarantee from the selected bidder for the contract duration. Additional performance security of 10% of the tendered amount will be obtained from the successful bidder. The document also specified that in case of a delay in executing the tasks or supplying the required materials, WBPDCL will recover a sum equivalent to 0.5 percent of the value delayed supply/work for each week of delay, subject to a maximum of 10 percent of the total value of the order. WBPDCL’s Sagardighi thermal power plant features a total of 5 solar projects, including the 10 MW ground-mounted project. Earlier, West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) issued a tender for the procurement, fabrication, galvanization, supply, delivery, installation, and fixing of MS channel, solar PV module, array junction box, SPD, LA to be utilized at TCF Canal Bank 10 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic power plant under Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal.
