Waaree Supplies 14MW Solar Modules to Amp Energy India By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Sat, Mar 20th, 2021 Waaree Energies, India’s largest solar module manufacturer has supplied 330wp & 335wp Solar modules for a project Developed by Amp Energy. The project is 14MWp captive solar open access project in Uttar Pradesh that will supply power to airtel. This project has many Firsts, it is airtel’s 1st captive solar power purchase & also 1st captive solar open access project in Uttar Pradesh commissioned under the UP connectivity auction. Waaree has supplied 14MW of solar modules for this prestigious project. The project was inaugurated on 19th February 2021. This 14MWp plant will supply solar power to meet the energy requirements for airtel’s datacenter facility (Nxtra Data Ltd.) in the state & with datacentres playing a key role in India’s digital economy, this solar project supports the Government of India’s Digital India Programme.
