The RETC PV Module Index Report assesses solar PV module manufacturers worldwide. It identifies companies that excel in key performance metrics, quality standards, and reliability measures, which can serve as a resource for industry stakeholders aiming to make informed decisions in relation to solar PV modules. The company said that this recognition will aid Waaree Energies Limited in maintaining its position in solar technology and demonstrating an unwavering commitment to quality, reliability, and performance. “Waaree Energies Limited has earned recognition for its performance in several critical areas, including Light and Elevated Temperature-Induced Degradation (LETID), Light-Induced Degradation (LID), and Bill of Materials (BOM) Verification. These recognitions highlight Waaree Energy’s dedication to maintaining standards in product development and manufacturing processes, performance and durability,” a statement from the company said. Waaree Energies Gets Recognition In RETC PV Module Index As per the latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), Waaree has the highest enlisted solar module manufacturing capacity. The company also had announced opening its new solar module manufacturing unit in the United States (US). In a latest interview to Saur Energy, Waaree’s Chairman Hitesh Doshi said that its proposed US manufacturing of solar modules would start around September this year. He also talked about the plans of the company to add more production capacities and boosting backward integration. The company is also one of the few India solar module manufacturing which is selling its solar modules online directly to the consumers who want to go for solar.
