Waaree Energies Limited, India’s largest solar PV modules manufacturer with an aggregate installed capacity of 12 GW has  appointed Sanjeev Pushkarna as the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) for the company. With experience in procurement and a track record spanning multiple years in the energy sector, Pushkarna’s appointment is expected to spearhead the Company toward innovation in the renewable energy ecosystem.

Waaree has plans underway to enter solar cell production as well, even as it has received significant domestic orders for module supplies in the recent weeks. The firm is also one of the leading module exporters from India.  

Waaree Energies has a dedicated publicly listed EPC division in Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, which has been growing strongly. Waaree Energies itself has been in the news for its IPO plans as well, and clarity on those is expected soon as well.
