Vibrant Energy Places Order for c.149 MW Wind Energy with Envision Energy

Vibrant Energy & Envision Energy Sign Agreement

Corporate renewable energy solutions provider Vibrant Energy (Vibrant) has placed an order totalling c.149 MW with Envision Energy (Envision). The order consists of 45 wind turbines with a capacity of 3.3 MW each, with delivery expected to commence from Q3FY24 onwards.

Vibrant is currently operating and delivering c. 2 GW of renewable energy solutions for corporates. It may be recalled that Vibrant Energy recently secured more than INR 2,200 crores of project financing from Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC). This funding will aid the firm in establishing 300 MW (AC) of wind-solar hybrid projects in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. Vibrant Energy claims this financing will be among the largest project financing deals in the Indian renewables industry in 2023. The firm is also expanding international presence. Danish wind energy major Vestas and Vibrant Energy earlier signed a deal for two wind projects in India. Vestas will supply 36 units of V155-3.6 MW turbines as part of the order.

Envision Energy looks into designing, manufacturing and operating smart wind turbines and energy storage systems, also providing green hydrogen solutions. According to the report of 2022, global wind turbine market shares by BloombergNEF, Envision Energy ranked fourth globally. According to the latest data, the number of existing orders for Envision’s energy storage systems have exceeded 15 GWh.
