Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wants all the government offices to have solar power panels installations in days to come. The Uttarakhand Chief Minister, to raise the solar installations in the state, directed the officers to make solar panels mandatory in all government offices. He said that the quest for solar power in government buildings will begin from the State Secretariat. Moreover, Dhami instructed the officials to make solar panels mandatory in large size commercial buildings in Uttarakhand. The direction has come just after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Solar Panel Scheme for 1 crore households across India.
