(UPPCL) has invited bids for the setting up of a project of a 10MW / 40MWh standalone battery energy storage system in Uttar Pradesh at Vrindavan, Mathura. The last date for submitting the bid for this 10MW / 40MWh standalone battery energy storage system project is December 26, 2022, & bids will be opened on December 27, 2022. Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL) has invited bids for the setting up of a project of a 10MW / 40MWh standalone battery energy storage system in Uttar Pradesh at Vrindavan, Mathura. The last date for submitting the bid for this 10MW / 40MWh standalone battery energy storage system project is December 26, 2022, & bids will be opened on December 27, 2022. The scope of work of this tender is a selection of battery energy storage system developers ( BESSD) for setting up of 40 MWh (10 MW x 4 hrs) storage system at identified load center in Uttar Pradesh for “on Demand” usage under the tariff- based competitive bidding process. These projects will be set up under the “BOOT” model. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. one lakhs (+ 18% GST) as document processing fees. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 7,40,000 per MW as an earnest money deposit (EMD). Bidders will have to submit Rs. 3% of the total contract value as performance security within 30 days of receiving a letter of award. The bidders must have experience in the same kind of work with setting up a project of a standalone battery energy storage system within the previous five years. The projects must comprise transmission line construction, switchyard/substation bay, design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance. The minimum average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the last three years should be not less than 5 crores in any two years during the last five financial years from consulting. The net worth of the bidder during the last financial year should be positive.
