The government and semi-government buildings in Uttar Pradesh will host these solar projects. The Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model will be used for each project on a net-metering basis. The last date for submitting the online bid is October 28, 2022, & bids will be opened on October 29, 2022. For all interested bidders, the minimum capacity to apply is one (1) MW & the maximum capacity is five (5) MW. This 50 MW tenders’ scope of work includes design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warrantee obligation with twenty-five (25) years of comprehensive operation and maintenance. The awarded bidder will also have to submit Rs. 12 lakhs per MW as performance security within 30 days from the date of issue of the work order. After receiving the work order, the project has six months to reach financial closing. Within a year of signing the contract with UPNEDA, the chosen developers must put the capacity they were given to use into service. The bidder must have completed the commissioning of grid-connected solar systems with a total capacity of at least 500 kWp (under the RESCO Model) for any central or state government agency in the last five years. The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be 80 lakhs per MW.
