UPNEDA Invites Bids for 25 Solar Cold Storage Units in Uttar Pradesh By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Mon, Sep 26th, 2022 Highlights : Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has invited bids for the supply of 25 units of 6 MT solar cold storage including five years comprehensive maintenance contract (CMC) on a turnkey basis in Uttar Pradesh. The last date to submit the bid is October 13, 2022, till 06:00 pm and the bids will be opened on the same day at 06:30 pm. Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has invited bids for the supply of 25 units of 6 MT solar cold storage including five years comprehensive maintenance contract (CMC) on a turnkey basis in Uttar Pradesh. The last date to submit the bid is October 13, 2022, till 06:00 pm and the bids will be opened on the same day at 06:30 pm. This tender has included design, engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, pre-shipment testing at manufacturer’s works, proper packing for transportation, transportation along with transit insurance, delivery at the plant site, unloading, storage, installation, interconnection with related equipment, calibration, testing, commissioning to a fully operational condition as covered under this specification. The awarded bidder will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance for five years of commissioning of the project. The estimated total cost of the tender is five crores & the estimated completion period of the project is four-month. Each interested bidder will have to provide an amount equal to 1% of the expected contract value as an earnest money deposit. The awarded bidder will also be required to provide a security amount equal to 3% of the total contract value in the form of a bank guarantee that is valid for 18 months after the contract is executed. Bidders must have provided and installed the same or comparable category items for 30% of the bid amount, or eight solar cold storage units, within the previous five financial years to qualify. A minimum of 30% of the anticipated cost, or Rs. 1.5 crores, should have been the average annual turnover of bids over the previous five financial years. Bidders’ net worth as of the last day of the prior fiscal year must be less than 100% of the paid-up share capital. If the contractor doesn’t finish the job by the deadline, UPNEDA can deduct from the contract price as liquidated damages an amount equal to 0.5% of the contract price for each week of delay, up to a maximum penalty of 5% of the contract price.
