UPNEDA Invites Bids for 15MW of Rooftop Solar Plants in UP

UPNEDA Lowers Minimum CUF Among Other Revisions to Encourage Bids in 150 MW Tender

Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has invited bids for a 1 kW to 10 kW (15MW) of grid-connected rooftop solar power plant for captive use (Capex Model) in various government buildings at various locations in Uttar Pradesh. 

The last date for submitting the online bid is October 07, 2022, till 6:00 pm. Bids will be opened on October 10, 2022, at 6:30 pm.

These UPNEDA 15 MW solar tenders include the scope of work in design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warrantee obligation with five (05) years of comprehensive operation and maintenance. The estimated completion period of the project is four-month.

The estimated total cost of the tender is Rs 67.5 crores. Each interested bidder will have to provide an amount equal to 1% or 67.5 lakhs (whichever is greater) of the estimated total cost of the tender as an earnest money deposit. The awarded bidder will also have to submit 30% of the awarded contract value as performance security.   

The minimum average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the last three years, ending on 31st March of the previous financial year, should be 20.25 crores. The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be positive & not be less than 100% of the paid-up share capital, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)

The Bidder should have continuously supplied and installed same or similar category products for 30% of bid quantity i.e 4500 kW, in the last five years to any central/ state government organization.
