Ujaas Energy Confirms its 7 MW Solar Plant in MP is Under Break Down

Ujaas Energy has announced that its 7 MW solar power plant in Barod in Madhya Pradesh is under break down. 

In a regulatory filing, the firm stated that its “7 MW Solar Power Plant of the company situated at Barod location- Block no – S3 is under break down by fault identification and root cause analysis.”

The firm claims to have an installed power generation capacity of 235 MW, and to be the very first solar power developer in India to generate and sell solar renewable energy certificates (RECs) from its 2 MW solar power plant which was commissioned also in the state in March 2012.

In February, the firm had reported a Rs 5.4 crore loss in the December quarter. The company reported a profit of Rs 52.89 lakh in the quarter ended on December 31, 2019, per BSE filing said.

The total income of the company stood at Rs 6.63 crore in the quarter under consideration as against Rs 12.84 crore in the same period a year ago.

In 2017, we had reported that the firm had been selected to design, engineer, manufacture, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing and commission the 15 solar power project in HAL Ojhar Township, Nashik.

The Indore-based EPC firm, Ujaas Energy has secured a 15 MW ground-mounted solar power project for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The project will be developed on a turnkey basis at the HAL Ojhar Township premises.
