Two solar PV projects worth Rs 3,104 crore get NTPC board approval By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Apr 5th, 2016 NTPC board has accorded approval to investment proposals worth Rs 3,104 crore for solar PV projects in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Power major NTPC has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 30, 2016, has accorded investment approval for Mandsaur Solar PV Project (5×50 MW) in the state of Madhya Pradesh at an appraised estimated cost of Rs. 1,502.77 Crore; and Bhadla Solar PV Project (4×65 MW) in the state of Rajasthan at an appraised estimated cost of Rs. 1,601.27 Crore. Bhadla Solar PV Project (4×65 MW) in the state of Rajasthan with four blocks of 65 megawatt will be commissioned by March, 2017 and the Mandsaur Solar PV Project in the state of Madhya Pradesh for 250MW with five blocks of 50 megawatts each will also commissioned by March, 2017.
