Thalakulathur Solar Power Plant to Be Commissioned In March This Year By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Sat, Feb 18th, 2017 “A total of 2630 solar panels were installed on the solar power project site. The plant, now constructed with a 650-kilowatt capacity, will supply power through Koduvally and West Hill sub stations.” The solar power plant at Thalakulathur constructed by KSEB will be commissioned in the second week of March and trial run of the solar plant will commence from February 22 onwards said Transport Minister A K Saseendran. The minister inspected the construction site and conducted review meeting on the work progress of the solar project envisaged under Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO). The solar power project spreads across 3.76 acres of land reports TOI. Speaking to the publication the minister said “A total of 2630 solar panels were installed on the solar power project site.
