The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has issued a tender for the commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar PV power plants under net metering at 34 primary health centres in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Each site will get an 8 kW rooftop solar system with a full load battery back up for four hours. The total capacity to be developed under the tender will be 272 kW and will be done using the DPC, Nagpur fund. The scope of work for the selected developers will include the design, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of the grid-connected rooftop solar systems with net metering with full load battery back up of 4 hrs (Hybrid) at all the 34 selected primary health centres in the district. The selected developers will have a period of 120 days from the date of issue of the work order to complete the work on the installation of the project. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for May 21, 2020, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders. The estimated cost of the entire project including the 5 years CMC is Rs 3.672 crore and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 3.672 lakh along with their bids.
