Tender for 600 kW Rooftop Solar Projects Issued in Rajasthan

GANGMUL in Rajasthan has tendered for a 600 kW grid-connected rooftop solar plant at its rooftop and vacant grounds under the RESCO model.

The Ganganagar zila Dugdh Utpadak sahkari Sang (GANGMUL) in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan has issued a tender for the commissioning of a 600 kW grid-connected rooftop solar plant at its rooftop and vacant grounds under the RESCO model.

The tender follows up on an identical tender for 600 kW rooftop solar tender that was issued earlier this month by the Bhilwara Milk Union for setting up o the plant at the Bhilwara Zila Dugdh Utpadak Sahkari Sangh premises.

The scope of work for the selected developer(s) will include the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar plants. The project developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the solar plants for a period of 20 years from the date of successful commissioning. The developers will have a period of 180 days, from the date of handing over of the project to complete the work on the project.

The last date for bid submission is October 16, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for October 3, 2019, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 2 crore, and all bidders will need to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1 lakh along with their bids.

To be eligible for participating in the tender, the bidders should have a designed, installed and commissioned similar solar projects of at least cumulative capacity of 500 kWp prior to the bid submission deadline. Additionally, the bidders should have a turnover of Rs 2 crore in any of the last three financial years.

The RESCO(s) shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GANGMUL for the purchase of the power generated by the system and the implementation of the O&M work of the rooftop solar project for the duration of the twenty years.
