Telangana GENCO Seeks DPRs To Develop 56 MW Solar Projects Telangana Power Generation Corporation Limited (tangenco) has called for the preparation of a detailed project report(DPR) to develop numerous solar projects. It has sought bids up till March 21st, 2025. The TANGENCO shared details on the project, mentioning, “The tender intends to prepare Detailed Project Report(DPR) comprising of Technical Specification and commercial to develop three grid-connected solar projects. It comprises 56 MW solar projects comprising of: (1) a 15MW floating solar Photo Voltaic (FSPV) plant on the Raw water Reservoir at Yadadri Thermal Power Station (YTPS) (5x800MW) (2) a 28MW Ground Mounted solar plant on empty land at KTPP ALMM: Easy Photo, Akshaya Solar New Entrants In MNRE’s List Also Read (3)13MW Floating Solar plant on raw water reservoir at KTPP in TGGENCO Telangana Targets 20 GW RE, Storage Capacity Additions By 2030 Also Read The bidders are also expected to meet certain financial criteria to execute the solar project order. The tender has set the following criteria, “The bidder should have an annual turnover of not less than Rs. 3,88,800/- for at least 2 years during the last ‘3’ years. The bidder should enclose copies of the audited financial statements of the last three years.” The bid is valid for 180 days from the date of the Pre-Qualification Bids (PQBs) opening. The bidders also place penalties in case of delay in project execution. The tender mentioned, “In case of delay in execution of the subject work within the stipulated schedule, TGGENCO may at its option demand and recover from you an amount equivalent to half percent (0.5%) of the value of the uncompleted portion for every week of delay or part there of the subject to a maximum of 5% of the order value. This right of TGGENCO shall be without prejudice to its rights, under the law including the right to cancel the contract.” The tender also laid down the completion period.
