Tata Power Delhi Distribution Invites RFS for 255 MW of Hybrid Projects By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Fri, Sep 2nd, 2022 Highlights : Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL) has invited a request for selection (RfS) for Setting up 255 MW wind-solar hybrid power projects with a greenshoe option for an additional 255 MW across India. The last day for the submission of bids is October 03, 2022, till 06:00 pm and the tendered bids will be opened on October 04, 2022, at 11:00 am. Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL) has invited a request for selection (RfS) for the setting up of 255 MW wind-solar hybrid power projects with a greenshoe option for an additional 255 MW across India. The projects will be developed using a build-own-operate model. Out of the total 255 MW project capacity, Tata Power-DDL needs 85 MW of solar and 170 MW of wind energy, with a greenshoe option for an additional 255 MW of project capacity along the same lines. Therefore, the bidder must provide a quantity in the ratio of 1:2. (solar: wind). Bidders must submit their bid by outlining a single tariff that will apply to all the projects they have been quoted on for the duration of the PPA. The last day for the submission of bids is October 03, 2022, till 06:00 pm and the tendered bids will be opened on October 04, 2022, at 11:00 am. Each interested bidder will have to pay 29,500/- (inclusive of GST) as a bidding document fee, which is non-refundable. The awarded bidder will have to pay Rs. 5 Lakh / MW as an Earnest Money Deposit/bank guarantee. The awarded bidder also will have to submit Rs. 10 lakhs per MW as a performance guarantee of the contract period within seven days from the selection date. The minimum project size of a single hybrid power project shall be 50 MW to be interconnected at a single interconnection point. The hybrid power project developer shall set up wind-solar hybrid power project(s) including the transmission network up to the interconnection point, at its own cost and by the provisions of this RfS document. The net worth of the bidder should be at least 20% of the estimated project cost, as on the last date of the previous Financial Year 2021-22, or as on the date at least 7 days before the due date of bid submission.
