Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL), a distribution arm of utility giant Tata Power, has won the 7th ‘Innovation with Impact’ award under the category – ‘Quality of Service and Customer Empowerment’. The company, which is serving a populace of around 7 million in the national capital, has been conferred with the award for its system efficiency and outstanding contributions for its commitment towards its consumers. Further, this award ceremony was organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) as a part of the 13th India Energy Summit 2019 in New Delhi. Moreover, the award winners have been selected by the committee after assessing the performance of distribution utilities on parameters w.r.t. quality of services being delivered to the end customers. Commenting on the award win, Tata Power-DDL, CEO, Sanjay Banga said “we at Tata Power-DDL envision providing highest standards of services with the state-of-the-art technology integration for seamless customer experience.” He further added that, “we are extremely thankful to the Indian Chamber of Commerce for recognizing our efforts and for providing us with a platform to showcase it and honoring us with the award.” On this achievement, the company said in a statement that, over the years it has incorporated innovative technology in the field of power distribution and provided the best quality services to its consumers with high efficiency. This summit has provided a platform to the energy industry to explore different opportunities for a collaborative growth, it added. Recently during the month of September this year, the distribution company had entered into a MoU with Havells India to strengthen the distribution of electrical protection devices in North and North-Western parts of Delhi.
