Tata Power Commissions 450 MW DC Project For Brookfield Renewable In Rajasthan By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Wed, Jun 8th, 2022 Highlights : Tata Power Solar commissioned a 450 MWDC capacity solar pant for Brookfield Renewable India. Set up near Jodhpur, Rajasthan, the project is the first operating project for Brookfield in India. India’s largest integrated solar company, Tata Power Solar has commissioned a 450 MW DC capacity solar pant for Brookfield Renewable India. The installation entails set up of over 800,000 modules and was completed within record 7 months’ timeframe. The project will produce over 800 GWh of clean energy annually. Commenting on the project commissioning, Dr. Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD, Tata Power said, “We are pleased to have completed the solar plant for Brookfield Renewables India in Rajasthan in record time. For Brookfield Renewables, the project its first commissioned project in India, with power being supplied to NTPC, which in turn has a PSA with the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company and Puducherry Electricity Department.
