NLCIL Solicits Bids for 70.5 MW Solar Modules The Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (TCMPF) solicits bids to procure 30 MW of solar, wind or surplus power from producers. This is for a duration of five years. The procurement of power will take place through open access arrangement and the project will be set up in various facilities such as a dairy-cum-powder plant in Ammapalayam, Madurai ice cream plant, along with other outlets. The last date to submit bids online is June 8, 2023, and bids will be opened the following day. To be eligible, bidders must have installed and commissioned at least 5 MW grid-connected solar power or wind project within the last five years, which should have been commissioned at least six months before the bid opening date. The supply of power will begins after three months from the purchase order. 25 district cooperative milk producers’ unions are represented by Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation.
