Tamil Nadu Co-op Milk Producers’ Federation Issues 15MW Solar Tender

Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (TCMPFL) has invited bids for 15 MW of open-access solar power projects under the group captive model. 

The last date for submitting the bid for this 15 MW solar power project is October 17, 2022, and bids will be opened on October 18, 2022.

This 15 MW of TCMPFL (Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited) solar tenders includes installing and commissioning work and the power developer will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project for 25 years.

 Awarded bidder will have to pay Rs. 45,62,000/- as an earnest money deposit. Additionally, within 20 days of receiving the letter of acceptance, the successful bidder will have to pay a security deposit equal to 7.8 percent of the contract value.

Eligibility Criteria

To procure this TCMPFL 15 MW solar project tender, the minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process is at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X 15 MW (Capacity in MW bidder is bidding) X 0.7 = 42 Cr. 

The net worth of the bidder should also be positive for the last Financial Year. Net Worth of the bidder shall be calculated as follows: 

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses). 

The Bidder should have designed, supplied, erected, supervised, and commissioned solar-based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity (in MWp) of 20% or higher of total bid capacity, out of which at least one plant should have been of 5% or higher (in MWp) of total bid capacity.
