Svayru Energy Wins 25 MW Solar Project of Coal India Limited Mumbai-based Svayru Energy Limited has won a project via competitive bidding for the design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction and erection, testing, commissioning, associated transmission system and comprehensive O and M for five years Of 25 MW (AC) solar PV power plant at Bhojudih Coal Washery, BCCL, Purulia West Bengal. The tender was issued by Coal India Limited. The contract is valued at INR 163 Cr. The performance security is INR 8,15,00000. The scope entails (but is not limited to) the supply of PV modules, inverters, civil items, Balance of System including all equipment, materials, accessories etc and any other item required for successful completion of the project. The general works entail survey, land development, design and engineering, testing, commissioning, grid connectivity with evacuation infrastructure inclusive of ROW etc. The project is to be completed within 365 days of the zero date. In case the EPC works of the solar PV project is not completed within the stipulated time period and the delay is due to the reason attributable to the contractor, then the contractor shall pay to the company compensation for the delay. For delay up to 30 days, an amount of INR 20,000 per MW per day shall be deducted as penalty for the first 30 days of delay. For delay exceeding 30 days, it shall be INR 30,000 per MW per day. Coal India Limited has been issuing a series of tenders to set up solar projects. These include a 20 MW solar project and a 35 MW solar project.
