Suzlon Wins 378 MW Order From NGEL, Pact Grows To 1.544 GW

Suzlon Group has secured a 378 MW wind project order from NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL), expanding its total partnership capacity with the public sector utility to 1,544 MW. The win comes even as a key Industry body has predicted additions of 6-7 GW in wind capacity in Fy 26 for India.

This marks Suzlon’s second major order from NGEL in under eight months. Under the latest contract, Suzlon will supply 120 units of its S144 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 3.15 MW and hybrid lattice towers. The company will also handle the project’s foundation, erection, and commissioning and will provide maintenance and services.

Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group, said, “We are honored to be a strategic partner in NTPC’s ambitious vision to accelerate India’s clean energy transition.
