Wind energy company Suzlon today announced bagging a new order from Torrent Power. Under the agreement, the Pune-based company will supply its large 3 MW wind turbines to the company. Suzlon will supply 162 S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with Hybrid Lattice (HLT) Towers, each rated at 3 MW capacity for wind energy projects slated to come up in the Bhogat region in Gujarat.

With this, the Suzlon Group, and Torrent Power Ltd. have achieved a new together, now powering 1 GW of wind energy for India. S144-Optimal Power Source
