Suzlon Commissions 340 MW Solar Projects in Three States By Aaqib/ Updated On Fri, Mar 16th, 2018 With the commissioning of 340 MW projects, Suzlon has completed delivery of its entire solar order book. Suzlon, India’s largest renewable energy solution provider has commissioned 340 megawatt (MW) of solar projects across Telangana, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. The projects include 210 MW in Telangana, 60 MW in Rajasthan and 70 MW in Maharashtra, the company said in a statement. “The projects have been executed over a period of time, concluding in fourth quarter of 2017-18,” it said.With the commissioning of 340 MW projects, Suzlon has completed delivery of its entire solar order book. The projects were implemented either through joint ventures or by forming special purpose vehicles (SPVs) with partners. J.P. Chalasani, Group CEO, Suzlon Group said, “We have delivered the entire 340 MW solar project on turnkey basis. Our focus on solar will continue to be through wind-Solar hybrid projects, which will lead to better utilization of grid, due to complementary generation profile.
