Sunsure Energy Commissions 20 MW Solar Plants in Karnataka By Zulkarnain/ Updated On Mon, Apr 23rd, 2018 The project is spread across 75 acres of land situated in Harpanhalli Taluka of Davangeri district. For next 25 years it will generate enough clean energy to power more than 8,000 households in Karnataka. A 20 MW (15 MW + 5 MW) of turnkey solar power plant project was commissioned by Sunsure Energy, marking the end of its financial year 2018. The project is spread across 75 acres of land situated in Harpanhalli Taluka of Davangeri district. For next 25 years it will generate enough clean energy to power more than 8,000 households in Karnataka. The contract for delivery of the energy has been given to Karnataka’s two largest distribution companies, BESCOM and HESCOM. It will be distributed to residential, industrial and agricultural consumers of the state. All the way from synchronizing the plant with the grid Sunsure led the developments of these plants right from the bidding to land acquisition and clearances. Sunsure is now tasked with ensuring these plants perform optimally. Sunsure will be deploying its operations & maintenance systems at both the sites in FY19.
