Sunsure Energy Appoints Prosenjit Chakraborty as Head, Performance Systems & IT

Independent Power Producer SunSure Energy has appointed Prosenjit Chakraborty as the Head of Performance Systems & Information Technology in the Asset Management department. Prosenjit’s professional expertise entails developing and leading asset management systems in the renewables industry.

In the past, Prosenjit held key positions at renowned firms such as Ayana Power, Vena Energy, ReNew Power, and Wind Force Management Services. Prosenjit’s appointment reaffirms Sunsure’s commitment to upholding exceptional quality standards in our project management practices, the firm said. Prosenjit brings to the table strong analytical skills for forecasting and scheduling in renewable sector.

Recently, Mumbai-based Allana Group, a global leader in manufacture & export of various food and consumer products including Frozen & Chilled Halal Meat has signed a 4.5 MWp open access solar PPA with Sunsure Energy.

Sunsure is backed by Partners Group AG with a $400 million equity investment for developing over 3 GW of RE assets by 2027. Founded in 2015, Sunsure has developed and installed solar power plants for power-intensive industrial customers across 16 Indian states.
