SunSource Inaugurates 6 MW Rooftop Solar PV Project

Project is developed on 5 rooftops, spread across 21,00,000 square feet

SunSource Energy, a leading provider of solar-based energy and storage solutions to commercial and industrial organizations, today inaugurated its 6 MW rooftop solar PV project in Bhilwara, Rajasthan.

This project will provide clean energy to one of the industrial sites of one of the leading textile companies based out of Rajasthan, for a period of 25 years. The project is developed on 5 rooftops of the industrial site, spread across 21,00,000 square feet.

This project is in line with Neev Fund’s commitment to provide sustainable development in low-income states of India and is expected to offset over 2,00,000 tons of CO₂ emission over its lifetime.

Recently SunSource Energy bagged a contract to set up 1.95 MW solar PV power plant project with a 2.15 MWh battery energy storage station (BESS) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in Lakshadweep. The company is also ready to begin work on its Rs.300 crore, 70 MW solar power project under the open access program in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
