SunEdison Collaborates with ARKA Energy to Bring New Solar Solutions to India

 

Chennai-based renewable energy company SunEdison has launched a new kind of solar roof and gazebo collection in the Indian market. SunEdison designed this new solar solution in collaboration with ARKA Energy. A new set of integrated residential PV systems with exquisite and aesthetic looks help customers “Go-solar-in-style.”

The state-of-the-art ‘ARKA Collection’ of products was developed by Arka Energy which is a Silicon Valley-based solar plant designing & maintenance startup. The collection comprises of PowerRoof & PowerGazebo designed to turn roof and open spaces in most homes into energy-generating assets, without compromising aesthetics. PowerGazebo expands the living space available in garden or terrace areas.

According to the ARKA, their collection offers an integrated solution with custom components and pretested systems giving the greatest quality, in contrast to standard PV systems manufactured with discrete components like modules, inverters, and racking. They also said that the cutting-edge glass-on-glass solar tiles created with cutting-edge shingling technology and installed on unique interlocking brackets for a lifetime weatherproof solution, ARKA PowerRoof & PowerGazebo deliver breathtaking aesthetics.

The company also claims that these integrated systems undergo extensive reliability testing of all system components to ensure long-term performance, and unmatched fire and electrical safety.

Along with that, Arka added that its PowerRoof can be installed on either a raised metal truss or an aesthetically designed integrated solar roof with a jet-black glass finish. It will soon be offered in terracotta and other conventional roofing tile colors. The PowerGazebo improves the living space with a custom wooden finish, fake ceiling, integrated LED lights, and power outlets – the ideal location for festivals or parties. It is suitable for villa terraces and gardens. It is waterproof and fully integrated.
