STi Norland to Deliver 35MW of Single-axis Trackers for Israel PV Project By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Tue, Mar 7th, 2017 STi Norland has signed a deal with Belectric Israel and project owners EDF Israel and Clalsun to supply 35 MW of STI-H1250 single-axis trackers for Ashalim PV project. Spain based solar tracker manufacturer STi Norland has inscribed an agreement with project owners EDF Israel and Clalsun together with Belectric Israel to deliver 35MW of its single-axis trackers for the Ashalim PV project. Being adaptable to a range of terrains, the STI-H1250 single-axis tracker will provide a cost-effective installation solution that can allow for a reduced LCOE. STi will be deploying 144 units of the tracker on site by mid-April. Going through the report, the Ashalim PV project is expected to reach commercial operation by the end of this year. The energy produced will be sold to Israel Electricity Company (IEC) via a 20-year PPA. Once completed, STi Norland will officially have more than 110MW installed in Israel for both utility-scale and commercial projects.
