South Eastern Central Railway To Install Grid Connected Solar Power Plants Under PPP Model: Report By Saur News Bureau/ Updated On Mon, Jan 9th, 2017 SECR will install solar power plants on roofs of SECR buildings like Central hospital and multi department’s training centers South Eastern Central Railway (SECR) is reportedly gearing up to install four grid connected rooftop solar power plants. According to TOI SECR will install solar power plants on roofs of SECR buildings like Central hospital and multi department’s training centers under Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. Dr. Chandraprakash Tripathi, Chief Public Relations Officer, SECR speaking to the publication said that this project will enhance utilization of solar energy. SECR already has installed power plants with total capacity of 218.18 KW. According to the report Uslapur electrical training centre will have a 100KW plant while Railway recruitment board and Bilaspur railway station will have plants of 50KW each. Solar power plant will also be installed at railway hospital, running room, training schools and level crossings.
