Solis Among Top 50 Technology Faces of Chinese Global Enterprises

The evaluation was done by MIT Technology Review China, DeepTech, and LinkedIn China.

Ginlong (Solis), a leading photovoltaic (PV) inverter manufacturer and the world’s third-largest player announced its inclusion in the “GlocalIN Top 50 Technology Faces of Chinese Global Enterprises” corporate map.

MIT Technology Review China, DeepTech, and LinkedIn China have collaboratively unveiled the “GlocalIN Top 50 Technology Faces of China’s Global Enterprises” map, recognising Solis for its exceptional contributions to the field of clean energy technology. 

This selection process focused on evaluating companies across intelligent hardware, industrial robots, medical health, and new energy sectors.

The comprehensive assessment involved analysing technological innovation, international talent development, overseas market influence, globalization achievements, industrial impact, and overall performance. Solis emerged among the top 50 Chinese global technology companies following a thorough evaluation and statistical analysis of data from more than 100 firms.

Solis said that it has taken special measures in becoming pivotal in advancing global energy transition efforts. “Securing a place in the top 50 Chinese global technology companies reaffirms Solis’s influential role in shaping the energy landscape. With a mission to “develop technology to power the world with clean energy Solis remains dedicated to driving advancements in energy transition globally. This commitment has propelled the company to the third position in PV inverter manufacturing worldwide,” the firm said in a statement. 

Solis was established in 2005 as Ginlong (Solis). It provides solar and energy storage solutions for residential, commercial, and utility-scale customers. It delivers value across the solar supply chain. It employs innovative string technology. By integrating a global supply chain with leading R&D and manufacturing capabilities, Ginlong tailors Solis inverters to regional markets, with local experts offering service and support. 

Solis also has expanded its business in India in the last few years. At the recent REI Expo at Greater Noida, the inverter firm launched its 350KW inverters to cater to the demands of the rising solar industry in the country.
