Solidus Techno Power Pvt. Ltd, a solar EPC company in Punjab, announced a collaboration with Jogindra Group, a company working in Punjab’s manufacturing industry. The partnership is meant to develop a 110 MWp solar power project. The 110 MWp captive open-access ground-mounted solar project is designed to cater to the diverse energy needs of Jogindra Group’s key enterprises.

These include Jogindra Castings Pvt. Ltd, Vardhman Adarsh Ispat Pvt. Ltd, and Oasis Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. Spread across three locations in Punjab, the firm said this project ranks among the largest solar initiatives in the region. It is tailored to optimize energy production and utilization for each part of the Jogindra Group.

Solidus Techno Power will spearhead the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of this project, bringing its expertise in solar energy solutions to the forefront. The 110 MWp project is expected to generate approximately 187 million units of clean energy annually, reducing an estimated 160,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

The firm said that the project will enhance the grid stability and reliability. “The project will provide substantial contributions to the local power grid, strengthening its stability and reliability for both rural and urban areas in Punjab. It will also aid in generating significant clean energy.  The project is also likely to generate both direct and indirect employment opportunities for local residents during the construction and operational phases. Local businesses and services will experience increased demand, driving economic growth in the surrounding community,” the company said.
