Solarium Enters Into 78.4 MW Solar Deal With Citizen, Navitas Gujarat-based Solarium Green Energy has entered into two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with solar panel suppliers, Citizen Solar and Navitas Solar. As per the terms of the MoUs, Citizen Solar will supply 53.70 MW of solar panels from March 2025 to September 2025. Concurrently, Navitas Solar will supply an additional 24.70 MW of solar modules by the end of December 2025. Cumulatively, these agreements will ensure the supply of 78.40 MW of solar panels to Solarium Green Energy Limited. Solarium Green Energy stated in a regulatory filing, “These MoUs represent a critical step in ensuring the timely availability of solar panels for ongoing orders and those for which the Letter of Award (LoA) has been received but execution has not yet commenced.” The company further explained, “Additionally, these MoUs will help meet the anticipated demand arising from tenders we have bid for, the results of which are still awaited. They will also facilitate the execution of a new order book from the residential segment, which is generated regularly. This partnership will enable us to execute our projects efficiently and uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality solar energy solutions to our customers within the expected timelines.” Citizen Solar & Navitas Solar Supply Order The company also elaborated on the agreement’s scope, stating, “Citizen Solar Private Limited will supply 53.70 MW of solar panels in 2025. These solar panels will consist of Mono PERC 545Wp to 550Wp, depending on the location.” Regarding the scope of supply, the MoU for 53.70 MW of solar panels will be effective from the date of signing and will remain in force until September 30, 2025, or until terminated by either party with 60 days’ written notice. Additionally, in terms of payment, the company stated, “25% will be paid in advance, with the remaining 75% due before dispatch of each truck. The supplier shall provide panels as per agreed standards and replace any defective ones at their expense.” Similarly, Solarium’s deal with Gujarat-based Navitas Solar states that it will supply 24.70 MW of Solar PV Modules by the end of December 2025. Payment terms include a 25% advance and 75% before dispatch of each truck. The supplier shall ensure that the solar panels meet the agreed specifications and quality standards.
