The company said that it will invest Rs. 900 crore to set up 500 MW module and 500 MW cell manufacturing facility and Rs. 3000 crores towards developing IPP solar power projects across Karnataka. The manufacturing plant will be located at Dabaspet, KIADB Industrial Area, Nelamangala Taluk, Bengaluru. The photovoltaic module plant also has Climate Chamber for module reliability testing and Research & Development facility for storage solutions. The Bengaluru based firm has tied up with GE which will work as the technology and engineering acquisition and construction partner. According to BusinessLine, Solargise India plans to dive into project development with a target to deliver 2000MW of solar power project in coming years using GE’s technology and systems.
