This was a 72.7% growth versus Q1 2022. JinkoSolar takes first position in global sales in Q1 A newly released report published notes that JinkoSolar topped the global solar PV market in Q1, beating out “JA Solar, Trina, Longi, and other top sellers” (Solarbe, 2023).” JinkoSolar delivered 13.04 GW solar panels in Q1 2023, among which nearly 50% is N-type Tiger Neo panel, the most of any of the solar PV brands. This was a 72.7% growth versus Q1 2022. This has led to JinkoSolar leading in global shipment and topping the N-type premium market, driven in large part by its Tiger Neo panels. The strong show is no surprise, considering the strong demand seen worldwide for solar panels, where Chinese firms continue to dominate. Presently, the top 10 global firms in module manufacturing and sales are probably all from China, a situation that might change in 2025 as capacities elsewhere ramp up. JinkoSolar says that its N-type Tiger Neo panels, including its N-type BIPV series, are expertly developed and engineered for power generation performance and enhanced reliability. Features such as higher efficiency and rated power, higher bifacial factor, lower temperature coefficient, lower degradation particularly light-induced degradation and LeTID, as well as improved performance under low light conditions have been praised by customers, informs JinkoSolar. JinkoSolar says it is taking its Tiger Neo series to the next level with improved features to lead the N-type market. It comes with the highest panel efficiency up to 23.23%, maximum power of 625Wp, temperature coefficient lower than 0.29 %/°C, and 80±5% bifacial factor. As per the firm, JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo continued to lead global market of top-selling N-type panels. JinkoSolar takes first position in global sales in Q1 “It’s no surprise that JinkoSolar ranks that high,” said Dany Qian, Vice President of JinkoSolar. “The brand, despite all the fierce competition and aggressive newcomers, still drives and leads the technical advancement and it tops the N-type TOPCon premium market. A lot of that strength comes from the Tiger Neo series which accounts for nearly 50% of our total sales for the first time in Q1.” Recently, JinkoSolar revealed its financial results, It said its total revenues were $4.41 billion, seeing an increase of 85.5% YoY. The firm clocked a gross profit of $620 million which is up 61.7% YoY. Earlier, JinkoSolar revealed that it had launched its second generation Tiger Neo panel family, which it claims is among the world’s most efficient and powerful solar panels.
