The latest All Energy Australia (AEA) exhibition opened at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre attracted industry experts and participants from across the global renewable energy sector. The two-day event is bustling with activity, showcasing the latest innovations and developments in clean energy. SOFAR unveiled its solar and energy storage solutions.

Australia’s Solar and Energy Storage Market: Rapid Growth Fueled by Innovation

Australia has seen significant growth in its photovoltaic (PV) market, driven by technological advancements, declining costs, and government support through carbon taxes and incentive policies. Recent data shows that Australia added 4.6 GW of new PV capacity, with distributed PV accounting for 68%. Moreover, 2023 saw the installation of a record 57,000 residential battery storage systems, with a total capacity reaching 656 MWh. The Australian solar and storage market is advancing at a remarkable pace.

Industry Recognition: Empowering Through Innovation

SOFAR, an energy solutions company also took part in the event. It also earned global recognition and praise from customers worldwide. At this year’s AEA, SOFAR received the Top PV Inverter Brand Australia 2024 award from research firm EUPD Research.
