Energy solutions company SOFAR presented its latest innovations covering residential, C&I and utility applications at the Intersolar South America 2023. This platform is one of the largest and most influential exhibitions for South America’s renewable energy industry.

SOFAR introduced the 40-75KTLX-G3-LV series three-phase low-voltage C&I inverter specialized for the Brazilian market, which caters to the needs of Brazilian power grids with enhanced reliability. The company said that the product combines three advantages of high yields, ensured safety and low cost, which will further improve the company’s competitiveness locally.

In the meantime, the recently released SOFAR PowerMega, tailored for utility solar, is also in the spotlight and draws huge attention, it said.

“With a maximum efficiency of 99.05% and 20A input current per MPPT, PowerMega enables higher power yields. Featuring IP66 and C5-M anti-corrosion, the 350kW inverter manages to survive harsh environments with a working temperature from -30℃ to 60℃, suitable for the hot and humid weather in Brazil,” the company said.

The company officials said that it has also witnessed an increased interest in the Brazilian market. “We’re witnessing that our shipments in Brazil have been greatly increased, and the partnership with the major local players was established as well. By virtue of emerging new products, we have completed a comprehensive solution portfolio,” said Roy Du, Head of SOFAR LATAM.
