The tender for this project follows a long, extended effort by SECI originally to execute it, something it finally gave up after 15 odd tender deadline extensions. That is when the Himachal government went with state owned SJVN to try and get the project done. This tender follows that responsibility entrusted to SJVN. The last date for submitting the online bid is September 15, 2022, till 01:00 pm. Bids will be opened on the same day at 02:00 pm. This SJVN 10 MW floating solar tender includes the scope of work in design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warrantee obligation with 03 (Three) years of comprehensive operation and maintenance. The duration of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work of the project is 540 days from the date of issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA). Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 10,000/- (+ 18% GST) as a tender fee, which is non-refundable. The average Annual Financial turnover of the interested bidder during the last 3 years ending 31st March of the previous financial year, should be at least 30 crores.
