Senvion secures A 86.4 MW order From Continuum Green Energy Wind turbine manufacturer Senvion India announced a new order of 86.4 MW from Continuum Green Energy in Gujarat. With this order, Senvion will be delivering a total of 270 MW across five projects to Continuum. Senvion India was acquired by Saudi Arabia based Alfanar in 2021 from its German parent, Senvion Gmbh. At the time of the deal, Senvion India had stated that it had already localised over 85% of its wind turbine manufactrng in India. The statement from Senvion mentions that the deliveries for the new order are scheduled to begin in October 2024 and are expected to achieve grid commissioning by March 2025. The project entails delivering Senvion’s advanced 2.7M130 platform, which will be installed at a hub height of 140 meters. The project includes a 20-year Fleet-Pro operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract, offering cutting-edge digital connectivity, 24X7 monitoring, and proactive maintenance to guarantee top-notch turbine performance and dependability.
