SECI’s 2GW ISTS-Connected Wind Projects Tender to Close on May 06 By Manu Tayal/ Updated On Fri, May 1st, 2020 State-owned Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd’s (SECI’s) tender for 2 GW (or 2,000 MW) inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connected wind power projects in India under tariff-based competitive bidding (Tranche-IX) will be closed on May 06, 2020. Thus, interested bidders can submit their bids on or before May 06, 2020, by 6:00 p.m. Also, SECI will open the bids on May 11, 2020. However, the nodal agency had already conducted the pre-bid meeting for the same on April 30, 2020, as earlier intimated on April 24, 2020, that it has rescheduled the pre-bid meeting to April 30, 2020, from the earlier scheduled date of April 08, 2020. Initially, SECI had issued the tender on March 20, 2020, and interested bidders will have to submit a tender fee of Rs 29,500 and earnest money deposited (EMD) of Rs 6 lakh at the time of applying. The minimum cumulative project capacity awarded will be 50 MW and the maximum cumulative project capacity awarded will be 2 GW.
