SECI to Conduct Virtual Pre-Bid Meeting for 1070 MW Solar Tender By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Wed, Jul 22nd, 2020 SECI Issues Tender For 2GW Solar Projects With Storage SECI will be conducting the pre-bid meeting for its tender for setting up of 1070 MW solar PV projects in Rajasthan through video conferencing. The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced that it will be conducting the pre-bid meeting for its tender (RfS) for setting up of 1070 MW Grid-connected Solar PV Projects in Rajasthan (Tranche-III) through video conferencing. The pre-bid meeting will be held on July 31, 2020, and the invitations for the meeting will be sent out on July 30, 2020. All prospective bidders who are interested in participating in the meeting have been requested to intimate the names and email ids of respective participants, by mailing to [email protected] and [email protected], latest by July 28, 2020. SECI Tenders for 1070 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan Also Read The meeting will be held on the Microsoft Teams Platform, and SECI may limit the number of participants from each organization to 2, in view of limitations on the Teams platform. The agency had issued the tender for setting up of 1070 MW grid-connected solar PV power projects in Rajasthan earlier this month. The Solar Power Developers (SPDs) selected by SECI based on this RfS, shall set up the solar PV projects on a Build Own Operate (BOO) basis in accordance with the provisions of this RfS document and standard Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). SECI shall enter into a PPA with the successful Bidder selected based on this RfS for purchase of the solar power generated by the projects for a period of 25 years based on the terms, conditions and provisions of the RfS. SECI to Conduct Virtual Pre-Bid Meeting for 15 MW Floating Solar Tender Also Read As per the RfS, the power procured by SECI from the above Project has been provisioned to be sold to the State Buying Entity, i.e. Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL), which shall be the Buying Entity under this RfS. The Projects to be selected under this RfS shall be of minimum individual capacities of 10 MW and shall be set up in integral values, with a cumulative capacity of 1070 MW to be set up under the RfS. Already commissioned projects cannot be considered under this RfS. Projects under construction or projects which are not yet commissioned will, however, be considered, in case these projects are not already accepted under any other Central or State Schemes. The last date for bid submission is August 31, 2020, and all bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 4 lakh per MW of bid quoted capacity along with their bids.
