SECI Tenders for 1070 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan By Ayush Verma/ Updated On Fri, Jul 17th, 2020 Public sector enterprise Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited (RSMML) has issued a tender for comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of the 4.9 MW wind power project at Village Barabagh, District Jaisalmer in the state of Rajasthan. SECI has issued a tender for setting up of 1070 MW grid-connected solar PV power projects in the state of Rajasthan (Tranche-III). The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible firms for setting up of 1070 MW grid-connected solar PV power projects in the state of Rajasthan (Tranche-III). The Solar Power Developers (SPDs) selected by SECI based on this RfS, shall set up the solar PV projects on a Build Own Operate (BOO) basis in accordance with the provisions of this RfS document and standard Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). SECI shall enter into a PPA with the successful Bidder selected based on this RfS for purchase of the solar power generated by the projects for a period of 25 years based on the terms, conditions and provisions of the RfS. SECI Tenders for 15 MW Floating Solar Plant in Himachal Pradesh Also Read As per the RfS, the power procured by SECI from the above Project has been provisioned to be sold to the State Buying Entity, i.e. Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL), which shall be the Buying Entity under this RfS. The Projects to be selected under this RfS shall be of minimum individual capacities of 10 MW and shall be set up in integral values, with a cumulative capacity of 1070 MW to be set up under the RfS. Already commissioned projects cannot be considered under this RfS. Projects under construction or projects which are not yet commissioned will, however, be considered, in case these projects are not already accepted under any other Central or State Schemes. Under this RfS, the SPD shall set up the solar PV project including a dedicated transmission network to the Interconnection/ Delivery Point, at its own cost. All approvals, permits and clearances required for setting up of the Project and/ or dedicated transmission network upto interconnection/ delivery point (including connectivity and LTA) including those required from state government and local bodies shall also be in the scope of the SPD.
