SECI Posts Another Bid Deadline Extension for Solar Tender in Tamil Nadu By Soumya Duggal/ Updated On Tue, Jun 8th, 2021 SECI Issues Tender for Selection of Consultancy Firm for 100 MW SPV Project with 40 MW/120 MWh BESS New Delhi-headquartered Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has extended the bid submission deadline for its tender for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of 50 MW (AC) solar PV project with land having 10 years plant O&M at Tamil Nadu. The last date for bid submission has been extended from June 7, 2021, to June 30, 2021, till 2 p.m. and the technical bids will be opened on the new bid closing date and time. The tender details pertaining to the extension an be accessed here. Interested bidders will be able to download the official copy of Tender documents after logging into the Electronic Tender website by using the Login ID and Password provided by Electronic Tender during registration. The bidder shall only be eligible to submit/ upload the Response to tender after logging into the Electronic Tender portal and downloading the official copy. Recently, the nodal agency had extended the tender deadline from to May 19, 2021 to June 7, 2021. Bidders have therefore been advised to quote for the complete capacity of the tender, and the total capacity will be awarded to the lowest bidder. The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the full 50 MW (AC) solar project with the land. The developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the projects for a period of 10 years from the date of successful commissioning.
